Finding a therapist you are comfortable with is important. Therapy is a big investment of time and money and you should feel good with who you are working with. If you'd like to schedule a time to meet, talk on the phone, or chat virtually to make sure you are interested in beginning services with me this is a great option.

Sessions are focused around you and your goals.
The first couple of sessions will be heavily focused on getting to know each other and figuring out where to begin our work together. We will also begin to discuss the process of EMDR and if that would be a good fit for you.
I strive to provide a comfortable and casual environment. I want you to feel like we are just having a conversation and not like you are being analyzed.

Sessions are focused on the family unit or couple and their goals.
Family or couples sessions can feel really overwhelming or invasive for the first few sessions. This is completely normal, especially if you've never done therapy before. I allow space for the natural relationship dynamics to show up so I can help in the moment with what your goals are. I primarily use a Structural Family Therapy approach in these sessions.
*This is offered virtually as well but preferred in person if possible.
